Syed Tirmizi holds a license as an insurance advisor, specializing in the sale of Life and Health Insurance products in Ontario. My insurance advisory services are subject to regulation by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Ontario. The ownership and operation of the website www.visitorinsuranceontario.com (“Site”) falls under my purview, offering online insurance brokerage, advisory, and related services (“Services”) exclusively to Ontario residents. My approach involves delivering personalized insurance advice to site visitors through digital tools designed to assess their insurance needs and recommend suitable products. It’s essential to note that I am not an insurance company. Instead, as a licensed insurance advisor, I provide recommendations and facilitate the purchase of insurance products from a diverse range of licensed insurance companies operating in the province.

As an independent insurance advisor, I engage with multiple insurance companies and agencies, providing a diverse range of insurance products and coverage options offered and/or marketed by these entities. Utilizing my software tools, I routinely offer advice on specific insurance contracts, facilitate the sale of insurance, and procure insurance on your behalf as part of standard business practices. To deliver tailored advice, I engage in discussions with the insurance companies responsible for producing and selling these products, delving into the benefits and terms and conditions of various offerings. Additionally, I may consult with the insurance companies under my representation regarding the type of business they are seeking. For your reference, the following is a list of insurance companies and organizations with which I, as an advisor, hold contracts and represent: Allianz, IA Excellence, Industrial Alliance Life Insurance, Secure Travel (RIMI Insurance Solutions Inc.), Ingle- HMC, Ingle-MSH International, Canada Protection Plan (CPP) / Foresters, RBC Life Insurance Company, 21st Century, Desjardins Insurance, Sun Life Insurance, JF group, Destination Travel Group Inc., , Equitable Life Insurance Co of Canada, The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company, Foresters Life Insurance Company, Travelance Inc., GMS Insurance, TuGo, Travel Shield.

I place business with insurance companies directly or through designated intermediaries and/or representatives. Relationship with Companies I Represent

  • No insurance company holds an ownership interest in my business.
  • My business does not hold an interest in any insurance company.
  • There are no outstanding financial relationships, such as loans or other forms of indebtedness, other than agency relationships, in existence between an insurance company and I.

My Compensation

  • I am typically compensated by a sales commission on policies I sell, and I may also receive a renewal commission on policies that remain active. The commission percentage is determined by the insurance company and is calculated as a percentage of the insurance premium you pay.
  • From time to time, I may also receive contingent commissions from insurance companies due to satisfaction of certain pre-agreed provisions. My eligibility for compensation through such contingent commission may be measured through criteria such as volume, growth, and business retention. These criteria are established by the insurance companies that I do business with. Given the nature of contingent commissions, there is no exact method to determine, with certainty, the impact any single insurance policy placement will have on contingent commission arrangements.
  • If my sales for some insurance companies reach a certain level, I may be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses, and I may be offered benefits, such as conferences, trainings, travel incentives, gifts and/or rewards.
  • In order for me to maintain strong relationships with quality insurers, I work with each insurer to provide the type of business it desires.
  • I participate in a marketing affiliate program. From time to time, I may receive prospective customer referrals from third party marketing affiliates, for which they are compensated by a flat fee which is independent of final insurance purchase by the prospect. I confirm that I have no conflict of interest in this respect.

 

Confidentiality
During the course of the relationship, it will be necessary for the client to provide a variety of personal information. I commit that all information will be held in the strictest confidence. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at the respective links. By registering for or obtaining a Service, using my Site and/or providing me with Personal Information, you consent to me collecting, storing, using and disclosing your Personal Information in accordance with the terms of my Privacy Policy.
